IPSentry Add-In SDK

Development environment must support the creation of ActiveX/COM objects (OCX or DLL) VB, C##, VB.NET, C#, etc...    Note that for development VS.NET, you will need to expose the interface for COM.

You must have a basic understanding of control creation and software development.

You must have IPSentry version 5.3.0 or later installed for testing. While it is possible to test your add-ins with an evaluation version of IPSentry, we recommend a fully licensed copy to avoid any issues regarding "Unregistered" limitations that may be built into IPSentry.

As a third party add-in developer, you may be entitled to a discount on "development" licensing for IPSentry - Please contact Sales@IPSentry.Com for information on possible Partner Developer Discounts.

While RGE, Inc. will make an attempt to help support developers using the IPSentry SDK, we can not at this time help in debugging your code, and other types of in-depth support. In the future, RGE may offer a primary support options for developers, however, at this time, we recommend utilizing our support forums in the IPSentry SDK group and take part in discussions with other developers. The IPSentry Development staff may monitor this group and attempt to offer help and advice when available.

The IPSentry SDK is not a supported feature of the IPSentry Network Monitoring Suite.
