The IPSentry Add-In Interface is based on functional requirements as there are two types of add-in components Monitoring and Alerting along with a globally required add-in interface.

Global Interface Requirements
All IPSentry add-ins must support the following properties and methods:

Monitoring Interface Requirements
All add-ins designed to be utilized as a monitoring add-in component must support the following properties and methods:
IPSMonitorConfig | IPSMonitor | IPSMonitorResult | IPSMonitorStop

The monitoring style add-in components should also support the following methods and properties for completeness as well as graphing capabilities. 
GraphDate | GraphResult | GraphProcTime | GraphItems | GraphItemsXML

Alerting Interface Requirements
All add-ins designed to be utilized as an alerting type add-in component must support the following properties and methods:
