ipSentry recognize a select set of system environment variables
Environment variables are used for very specific feature capabilities and may be deprecated within versions and migrated to system configuration settings.
Environment Variable Setting / Description NOIPSICON Value: Any
Set to any value disables the animation icon in the system trayIPSHERALDSMTP Value: computer name or FQDN
Sets the SMTP herald value (EHLO/HELO SMTP command)IPSNOMESSAGEID Value: Any
Does not generate a unique message id during SMTP message send and relies on the relay server to generate.IPSNOFALLBACK Value: Any
If the specified login fails, ipSentry will not fallback to current credentials for Windows login attempt.IPSIIS5UID Value: Any
Strips non Number/Alpha characters from the MUID during report generation.IPSNOTCPTERMINATECOMMAND Value: Any
Will cause ipSentry to skip termination command on SMTP, NNTP, and FTP monitoringSMTPTIMEOUT Value: Timeout in Seconds
